About Us

A house decorated with vibrant Christmas lights and decorations. — Vancouver Elks Lodge #823
A house decorated with vibrant Christmas lights and decorations.

On SE McGillivray Blvd, just off the I-205 corridor, Elks Lodge #823 has been doing the quiet, steady work that fraternal organizations are built for: feeding families through food basket programs, hosting celebrations of life, opening the hall to clubs and community groups, and keeping a warm light on for members who need a place to belong.

The lodge sits on a property that doubles as a secure RV park, a detail that surprises first-timers but perfectly captures the Elks spirit of practical generosity. Travelers pull in, find safe ground and genuinely friendly neighbors, and often leave wishing their own town had something like it. With a 4.4-star rating across nearly 300 reviews, the reputation here is built on real experiences, not marketing copy.

Bingo nights, meeting room rentals, celebrations large and small, and decades of community giving have made Lodge #823 a fixture in east Vancouver. The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks was founded on the idea that charity, justice, brotherly love, and fidelity are not abstract virtues but daily habits. This lodge lives that out one event, one food basket, and one handshake at a time.

What We Offer

Lodge #823 opens its doors to far more than card-carrying Elks members. The hall is available for private parties, club meetings, memorial services, and community gatherings, offering a spacious, affordable venue with the kind of built-in hospitality you cannot rent from a banquet hall chain.

The RV park on the grounds is a standout amenity, offering safe overnight and extended stays within walking distance of I-205 access. It is a practical, budget-friendly option for travelers who value security and a genuine community atmosphere over resort-style amenities. Guests consistently note the friendliness of the people they meet here.

Beyond the venue and the RV spots, the lodge runs active charitable programming including food basket distribution, holiday giving drives, and support for local veterans. Members gain access to regular social events, bingo nights, and a network of Elks lodges across the country, making Lodge #823 a home base that travels well.

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
